USAM Mission Statement

The creation of this museum organization is to preserve our country's rich aviation heritage and its accomplishments during the time period of WWII and beyond, through educational programs at schools, colleges, and other organizational groups.  It is our goal to restore and preserve one of our nation's treasures, the Boeing B-29 Superfortress. We look forward to touring this aircraft around the United States in honor of the people who built them, flew them, maintained them, and especially for those who made the ultimate sacrifice in them for the freedom of our country. Remember, Freedom is not free....
